EcoCredit is a technology platform and payment-coordination service that connects households, operators/collectors, recyclers, and buyers so they can arrange the collection, sale, and recycling of waste materials. EcoCredit provides software, an escrow/settlement facility, hash-coded transaction records, and messaging tools. EcoCredit is a neutral intermediary. We do not own, weigh, inspect, buy, sell, transport, or take possession of any materials exchanged between users.
All pickups, prices, weights, grades, hand-overs, and deliveries are arranged and carried out solely between users. You are responsible for verifying the identity of the party you deal with, the accuracy of quantities and grades, the condition and legality of the materials, and the physical safety of any meeting or collection. EcoCredit does not guarantee the conduct, honesty, solvency, or performance of any user.
Payments and payouts are processed by third-party providers (including Paystack). EcoCredit is not a bank and does not provide banking services. You authorise us and our providers to process the transfers needed to complete your transactions. Chargebacks, reversals, fraud, and disputes arising from a payment provider are governed by that provider’s terms; EcoCredit is not liable for provider outages, delays, or errors.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy of any listing, rate, or hash record. EcoCredit does not warrant that materials will meet any standard or that any transaction will complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EcoCredit, Camzoid Limited, and their directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, income, goodwill, data, materials, or payment, arising out of or connected with your use of the platform or any dealing with another user — whether based on contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the total platform fees you actually paid to EcoCredit in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You release and waive any claim against EcoCredit arising from disputes between users, non-payment or non-delivery by another user, injury, loss, or damage occurring during a pickup or exchange, and the acts or omissions of any user or third-party provider.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EcoCredit and Camzoid Limited from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your transactions, your content, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
We may suspend or terminate any account, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service or these terms, at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall first be pursued in good faith through negotiation, and failing that, resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
